The belly has popped!

This is my sister-in-law Ali in a picture taken Oct. 28th. The bump in her belly is baby girl-to-be Julia Morgan, who is due to make her appearance into this world on March 27, 2007. We can't wait! I am very excited for Justin to have another cousin.

Ali was a trooper last night. We went to my cousin Christine's bachelorette party at Lucky Cheng's in NYC. For those of you that don't know, Lucky Cheng's is a "restaurant" where all the waitstaff are transvestites. I put restaurant in quotes because the food there is barely edible (and in one of our dishes, the chicken was totally raw). Poor Christine - she got a lap dance from a tall, black "woman". It wasn't just a lap dance - it was pretty raunchy, and I don't think Chrissy enjoyed it much, but she sure was a good sport! I think her sister Ashley might have video of some of it on her camera, but Christine probably would not want me to post that here. I probably would have died up there if it was me. But Ali hung out all night, and then we went to another bar (Buddha Lounge - pretty cool place) for a while afterwards. We didn't get back to the parking garage until about 2:20am. That's a late night for me, and I'm not 5 months pregnant. I had a good time, and I'm glad she wanted to hang out. I was dying to go to the diner for some french fries & gravy when we got back, but I settled for a small Lean Cuisine pizza when I got home.

Chris got up with Justin this morning, which I very much appreciated. Unfortunately, his cell phone and the house phone rang around 10am, and the dogs next door were barking their heads off, so I didn't get to sleep in too late (and I could have used it seeing as how I didn't get to bed until about 4am).

Justin is just too cute, even if I do say so myself. He says "Uh-Oh" all the time, even repeats it when you say it, and loves to do patty cake and clap his hands. You can tell how proud he is of himself when he does it, too. It's adorable. And just today I think, he has really begun to be able to walk around holding on to things. It is amazing to watch how quickly he is developing and learning new things. And he is so vocal - he jibberjabbers all day long. He has also discovered how to yell at you when he doesn't want to do something. Wild man.

Pudge is still adjusting, even though it's almost been 10 months. I think because now that Justin is crawling all over the place, she must feel that she is losing all of her "territory". She'll just have to deal with it. I keep telling her to hang in there a couple more months. Once he is walking around and eating Cheerios (and dropping them all over the place), she'll be his best friend.
