Poor Miss Pudge

This is our dog, Pudge. She is almost 5 years old (where has the time gone?) Pudge acts as if we have ruined her life by bringing Justin into her world. This poor, sad doggy.

Seriously, she gets more attention from Chris and I now than she ever did before. Today she was a little on edge since Justin kept crashing into her in his Jeep walker. I'll post a picture of him in it tomorrow. But she behaved, and just kept trying to find a safe place to lie down. It took her several tries, until she realized she was safe underneath the kitchen table. The one thing Pudge has taken to doing is chewing on her paws. If anyone has any idea how we can get her to stop this, please let me know. I've tried washing them with medication, giving her vitamins, using cortisone spray, and even keeping the lampshade thing around her head as a last resort. And I've heard of people giving their dogs Prozac, but I won't be one of them.

Aside from being depressed and whiny about the baby, she really is a good dog when she's not stealing his stuff (and that doesn't happen too often anymore). Oh, and those two accidents she caused (my mom's broken leg and my mother-in-law's broken arm) were totally not intentional. Hey, she's not the only pet in the family that has put people in the hospital!





Cheer up Pudge! We love you! Like I said in a previous post, soon Justin will be feeding you more cheerios than you can eat. He just needs those teeth to actually come in, since they seem to be taking their sweet time actually pushing up through his gums.
