Dinner & A Movie

(I wrote this Sunday night, but still haven't uploaded the pic, so I never got around to actually publishing this post until now)

It's Sunday night and I had a really nice weekend. I actually feel kind of relaxed for once! It was a long week last week, and with Justin getting better, and then getting sick again, it just felt like it was never-ending. But it's been 3 days now without any puking (knock on wood), so I think we may be in the clear. He definitely seems back to his old self again (except for now we think he may be teething - he still only has his two bottom teeth).

Saturday I met up with my friends Jen & Kristen for an early lunch. Kristen brought her 18 month old daughter Charlee with her - she is a cutie! It really amazes me what a huge difference there is between a 1 year old and a 1 1/2 year old...in that 6 months, they actually turn into more of a little kid than a baby. Kristen is pregnant again - with TWINS! Congratulations to her and her husband! Twins and triplets run in her family. My mom is a twin. That scares me a little, because I just can't imagine if I had two of Justin. Or Justin, and then two more littler Justins. It's mind-boggling to think about!

My mom came over to babysit last night (my dad had to stay home b/c he ended up with the stomach bug). Chris and I went out for an early dinner, around 6pm. That's early for us, we don't usually eat till at least 8:30pm. I was laughing as we sat down because in the restaurant, there was us, and then all the other tables were filled with people at least 75 and older. At least we weren't there for the early-bird special! The restaurant was filled with little old Italian people. It was funny. After dinner we went to see "The Pursuit of Happyness". We had to choose between that and Alpha Dog, and since I wanted a movie that I knew ended happily, we chose Will Smith over Justin Timberlake. Happyness is a really good movie, a little long, but very good. It is amazing how Chris Gardner managed to keep himself together and continue to be a great father to his son even though he seemed to never get a break, and you knew how scared he must have been. I was impressed.

I started writing this post while we were watching the Patriots-Colts game. I'm sure by the picture above you can tell who we were rooting for in this house. Unfortunately, the Pats blew it in the second half of the game. There was even some yelling and hat throwing taking place in our family room. Sorry, Chris! :( Now we'll just be watching the Super Bowl for the commercials, and of course for all the box pools that I'm sure we're already signed up for.

I want to see Pursuit of Happyness and heard nothing but good things.
I also read a small article about the real guy and his son.
I did go see alpha dog last week, and enjoyed it.
I am probably going to post a review about it, so I dont want to say too much now
