Big Sky Country, Here I Come!

I am so excited, I am finally going to get to visit Montana! In 4th grade, we had to pick a state to do a report on, and I picked Montana. It is probably one of the projects that I did in school that I am actually still proud of (even though I was 8 at the time). And ever since then (and seeing the movies A River Runs Through It and Legends of the Fall), Montana has been the one state that I've always wanted to go to. Chris has always wanted to go too, but he wants to go in the summer when he can actually try fly-fishing.

So I have booked my flights and I am off to visit
Abby J, who is living there for a bit. And KJR will already be out there the week I am going, so I'm sure the three of us will have a great time! I am definitely going to have to try to get to a ski slope one day over the next three weeks. I haven't skied in about 4 years, although it is kind of like riding a bike, you don't really forget how to do it.

I will post some new pics of Justin later on today. Yesterday I went to use the main computer in the house and something was wrong with it, I couldn't actually see any internet pages, even though I was connected. THREE AND A HALF HOURS of talking to a Dell computer tech on the phone, we figured it out. And it turned out to be a problem with our McAfee virus scan software, go figure. At least the Dell tech was from North America and spoke perfect English. No offense meant to anyone reading this, but it would have been a lot more difficult to deal with the problem if I couldn't understand him. As if 3.5 hours out of my day wasn't difficult enough!

So it will be hard to be away from Justin for the 4 days I am gone, since he is doing new stuff all the time and is so much fun, but I really am looking forward to hanging out with Abby - we miss her around here!

yeah! I'm so excited you guys are going to visit. And FYI, A River Runs Through It was filmed along the Gallatin River, which happens to practically, well, run through our backyard. The road from Bozeman (the airport) runs along the river, it's quite beautiferous. Hopefully when you're here you can see some alpinglow, blue bird days and some snow! The peak is just off the hook when it's blue skies. As for skiing, you might want to get out there at some point in the next couple of weeks just so you can feel a little comfortable when you go out here. But there's slopes of all levels, the greens are actually really fun.
    yeah, again!
