Fairy Godmother
I am very excited and honored that Tommy & Ali have asked me to be Godmother to little Julia (when she gets here!) They are Justin's godparents and they are so good to him. So I am happy that we can repay them through their little girl (my husband Chris is the Godfather). Only 6 more weeks till she gets here! Yesterday Ali and I went shopping with Karen and I bought Julia a bunch of adorable outfits for the summer - little girls' clothes are so cute, and there is so much more to pick from than there is for boys.
Justin is walking all over the place now - I PROMISE I will put up some new pics later today. We're still trying to get used to some new foods - I tried making him the bananas and waffles again this morning, but it pretty much turned out the same as last time - about 10 bites and then he didn't want anymore. I don't know if he just doesn't want to spend the time chewing? Because he does actually seem to like the way it tastes. Who knows?!
On Thursday we went into Brooklyn to visit my Aunt Millie. She hadn't seen Justin since his christening, so we arranged a visit so she could spend some time with him. He was so good and so funny at her house! He put on a real show. We had lunch at Aunt Janet's and Justin loved Uncle Greg's split pea & ham soup! I'll have to get the recipe.
We're progressing with the use of the sippy cup...I give it to him with water or some diluted juice when he's eating his meals and snacks and he'll drink out of it. Right now he is walking around the kitchen with it and placing it on the table and all the counter tops and saying "oooh". He's just so darn cute!
Well, I'm going to wake up Chris so that I can get to the gym...hope you all had a good weekend!
