I Will Not Eat Green Eggs and Ham...

I tried to feed Justin some scrambled egg & cheese this morning for breakfast. He didn't want anything to do with it! I had to put a little piece on his spoon and then cover it with some banana peach oatmeal. Yummy combination! I guess I should try to feed him eggs every day until he gets used to them. He just doesn't want to try anything new, unless it's fruit. And he seems to know when it's not.

On Wednesday we went to Gymboree again, and this time Justin was much more interactive. He still had to have a ball in his hands at all times, but at least he joined in a couple of activities - beachball soccer, catching bubbles, and he sat and watched the parachute. He also did a lot of climbing - I would take the ball from him and put it at the top of an obstacle course, so he'd have to climb up to get it. At the end of the class he crawled over to a little see-saw, and I put him on it with another little girl from the class, and they loved it. It was really cute, they were waving to each other. After class I decided to run an errand, and I don't know if Justin had too much activity right after lunch, or if it was because of his cold and all the mucus he may be swallowing, but I was driving on a busy road when he let out a little cry and then projectile vomited his lunch all over himself and the car. I just about had a heart attack because I was worried he was going to choke and I couldn't pull off of the road. I did manage to take a nearby exit and then pull over. Luckily the vomit mostly landed on him and on the floppy seat that was opened on the floor in front of his car seat, so the car itself did not get too messy. He seemed fine immediately after ridding himself of his lunch, so we drove home and cleaned him up, and besides his cold, he's been fine ever since. There is never a dull moment!
