Long Time No Post!

I know, it's been awhile! Lots of stuff going on in the past few weeks. First, I have some "Congratulations" to dole out - Congratulations to Liza & Dino, who just got married this past weekend, Congratulations to Heidi and Dan, whose first son, Jackson Gabriel, was born on May 4, and Congratulations to Caren & Jason, who are expecting their first child in November!

Justin has been busy busy busy! He pretty much repeats anything you say, so we have to start being careful not to speak any trucker language around him. I happened to say "Oh Shit" at the park last week and of course, he ran around repeating that phrase for a couple of minutes. Thankfully, it hasn't been repeated!

We've had some playdates with Evan - last week Justin & I went down to Cathy's and we took the boys to the beach. It was Justin's first trip there. He wasn't a big fan of the sand, but he did NOT want to leave when it was time to go. So our first beach trip was a success. And I was very happy that he seemed excited to see Evan - when he first saw him, he smiled and said "HI!" It was very cute, and they played well together for the most part of our visit. One of Justin's new favorite words is "beach!" After the boys went to bed, Cathy and I enjoyed a few (okay, several) cocktails while sitting out on her back deck. Luckily, I felt okay in the morning! But it was a much needed, relaxing day.

Our basement is coming along great - not too much more to go before we'll have a nice playroom, office, gym, and full bathroom down there.

Chris and I went to the Berkshires for the weekend for our friends' wedding - it was great to see Liza & Dino and Lisa & Chad, and we had a really great time at the wedding. Justin spent the weekend with Maggie and Pop, and did lots of playing outside, which he loves. Grammy & Grampy are still in Italy, and as they would say..."Ciao!"
