Summer Fun

Justin loves the pool! Here he is at cousin Evan's house two weekends ago. He had a blast swimming with his dad!

Busy, busy, busy, that's how the summer is going so far! We've had a couple of barbecues, and trips to the park and zoo, and Gymboree, which we'll continue with through the summer. Justin is really starting to come around there - he says hi to all the other kids now and will even play on the same stuff as the other kids do. This is a big improvement from when we first started and all he wanted to do was play with the balls and be by himself. So it is definitely a positive experience, and I spoke with a few of the other moms there and we're all going to continue with the same class through the summer. So I'm happy about that.

This past weekend we went up to Grammy and Grampy's to celebrate Father's Day. They were very excited for us to come up since they had been in Italy for the whole month of May and missed little Justin-boo! He was very excited to see them, too. We had a really nice weekend - on Saturday Chris and I went to the beach while Justin napped, and then Grammy and Grampy babysat that night and Chris and I got to go out to dinner and to the movies (we saw Oceans 13, which was entertaining). Sunday we all just played with Justin in the yard and went out for an early dinner before we headed back to NJ.

The basement is ALMOST finished...everyday my contractor tells me one more day, as was the case today too! It's okay though - it will get finished when it's finished. Chris and I haven't been that on top of things as far as it goes, either. We still never bought a shower door for them to install, and the shower has been done for 2 weeks! It looks really great though - it is going to be a great room whenever it does get finished!

My little niece and Godchild Julia is so adorable, as you can see from this picture: She is 12 weeks old already! I can't believe it.
