Time Flies

It sure does...I can't believe it's been more than 2 weeks since my last post...I've been slacking. So much has been going on! And having a 17 month old will certainly keep you busy!

Justin is doing great. He still throws temper tantrums and likes to bang his head when he gets mad, (like right now, because I won't let him type on the keyboard!), but I just ignore it and it seems to be getting a bit better. He loves to play outside, and we make frequent trips to the park. He also really likes the pool! This weekend we'll be heading down to cousin Evan's and they can swim together.

He's also learned to climb, so that means absolutely no freedom for me...where I used to be able to leave him in the family room while I cleaned the kitchen, I can't do that anymore. He loves to climb and run on the couch, and would think nothing of throwing himself over the back of the couch to get to the rest of his toys. At least the basement is almost finished, so hopefully in a few weeks all the toys will be out in the open down there for him to play with.

He's gotten some top teeth and even has some molars growing in, so I'm relieved - I was getting worried that he'd only have two bottom teeth! We still go to gymboree once a week, and have play dates with some of the kids from there. Last week a bunch of us and Ali and Julia went to the zoo! Justin was more interested in looking at the other kids than he was in the actual animals, but it was a really nice day.

He's learning new words every day, and will basically repeat almost anything we say. He has quite a strong personality and is very determined to get his own way! Uh-oh...

Speaking of time flying, Chris and I celebrated our 8th anniversary on Tuesday. 8 years, wow! We went to Naples, FL for the weekend last weekend and it was a much needed, relaxing and enjoyable trip. Justin spent the weekend with Maggie and Pop and went swimming with Donnie, Taylor, and baby Christopher.

I'm not sure what the plan is for today - maybe lunch at the mall with Aunt Ali and cousin Julia. The tile guys are working in the basement, so I'm not sure if I should leave them or not!

Before I go, I wanted to mention some strange info that my brother Chris passed along this morning regarding "chemtrails"...check out this website for more scary info: http://imageevent.com/firesat/strangedaysstrangeskies?z=3&c=4&n=1&m=-1&w=4&x=0&p=14. He sent over some pictures this morning that he took from his apartment, and it's pretty crazy. Conspiracy theory or no?

the chemtrail stuff is nuts. Look for it in early morning on sunny clear days. Things are going to start to get wierd. Not going to be too many bright blue skies anymore, keep count of how many cloudless days we get now. Aight, hope all is well everyone.
