Troutville

We are heading to upstate NY tonight until Labor Day - woo-hoo! I love vacation! We're having our 12th annual summer party this weekend - I can't wait! Some of our friends from UMass are coming out, and the NJ crew is heading up as well. It will be a good time. Justin is staying with Maggie and Pop for the weekend, and he'll join us on Monday. Julia is also spending the weekend with Maggie and Pop, and cousin Lorraine is coming to help out, since a baby and a toddler will certainly be a handful!


Pudge will be coming with us, but she'll be spending the weekend at the Pooch Palace, and she'll join us on Sunday afternoon after everyone leaves. She's had a stomach ache for a couple of days, but she seems much better today - yesterday she threw up on my bedspread, my bedroom rug, the office rug, and the rug under the table in the kitchen. So we had to steam clean 3 rugs and wash the comforter! Starting at 6:45AM! Not a good start to the day. But I think she's over it - it was caused by a rawhide treat, which she'll never be getting again. Obviously.
