Happy Halloween!

Yesterday was such a great day! Justin was dressed as Mickey Mouse the Sorcerer, and he stayed in his costume all day. He loves Mickey, but I wasn't really fond of any Mickey costumes they were selling in the stores. But good old Ebay saved the day! You can see for yourself from the picture how cute he looked!

I was a bit worried all week because whenever I took out the hat and showed it to him, he'd yell for me to put it away. And since the hat has the ears on it, that's pretty much the most important part of the costume. We tried getting him to wear it all morning yesterday and he wouldn't let it touch his head, so I figured he'd just be running around in a red robe all day. But once we went outside, I told him it was cold out and he'd have to wear his hat, and then he kept it on all day!

So we went to our first Halloween party with our playgroup friends, and it was great, all the kids were so cute. Especially Sophia, who was Minnie Mouse, and was actually wearing sparkly yellow high heels. She is too cute. Justin had pizza for lunch for the first time, and he ate a whole slice, and then had a chocolate cupcake for dessert, which he loved and which ended up mostly on his face.

After we came home and took a nap, he got back in his costume and we had some visitors - Joe and Sue came by with their kids, KJR stopped by, Tina (Justin's babysitter) came by, and Maggie and Pop. We didn't get too many trick-or-treaters - maybe a total of about 15 kids in all. Oh well. Now Chris will have to hide all the leftover candy so that I don't eat it in one sitting!
